Gula Repair Welding is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and was established in 1999.
My name is Gary Koen and I’m very proud of the work done by Gula Repair Welding. What, for me, started as an interest in welding mostly Aluminium later grew to include almost all other weldable metals.
This small business has become well known for very specialized work particularly in the repair of castings. In many cases these repairs prolong the life of components that might be difficult or impossible to source and that would otherwise be scrapped.
Many repairs are to items that are no longer available as spares or are prohibitively expensive to replace, and thus repair welding becomes the most cost-effective solution.
